Hermione smoothed down the lines of her jacket. She was oddly nervous. This was not only the first time that she was in the Americas, but also the first time meeting Bruce's friends.

She hadn't even hesitated when Bruce said he was leaving, of course she would go with him. She didn't have anything else anymore, so she wanted to make new dreams, and she was certain that Bruce was a large part of that. She looped her arm through his, leaning into his side.

"Pound for your thoughts?"

Bruce smiles slightly. "I'm a little nervous to be honest. Slipping back into my own universe alone would have been easy, but when Eli said you could come with me I was so happy I didn't think about what my friends reactions would be." He looks at her. "No regrets?"
